How it works

This tool uses Steganography (Least Significant Bit algorithm). We take the digital data of your secret image and embed it into the invisible parts of the cover image's pixels. To the human eye, the cover image looks 100% normal.

Important Note

The resulting image will be a .PNG file. Do not convert this to JPG or send it via platforms that compress images (like WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger), or the secret data will be destroyed. Use Email, Discord (Main file), or Drive.

What is Steganography (Image Hiding)?

Steganography is the art of hiding secret data within an ordinary, non-secret file or message in order to avoid detection. Unlike cryptography, which hides the contents of a secret message, steganography hides the existence of the message itself. Our tool uses Image Steganography to embed a secret photo inside the pixels of a cover photo, making it invisible to the naked eye.

Invisible Layer

We manipulate the Least Significant Bits (LSB) of the image data. This changes the color values so slightly that the human eye cannot perceive the difference.

Client-Side Privacy

All processing happens directly in your browser using HTML5 Canvas. Your secret photos are never uploaded to our servers.

Dual Function

A complete suite: Encrypt (Hide) your images securely, and Decrypt (Reveal) them back whenever you want.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I share the image on WhatsApp?
No. Most social media apps (WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram) compress images, which destroys the hidden pixel data. You must share the image as a Document or via Email/Drive to preserve the secret.
Is it password protected?
Currently, we rely on "Security by Obscurity". The protection is that no one knows there is a hidden image. If they use this tool to "Reveal" your image, they will see it.
Why is the result a PNG file?
JPG format uses "lossy" compression, which discards small bits of data to save space. Since our secret is stored in those small bits, JPG would erase it. PNG is "lossless" and preserves every pixel exactly.
